On the occasion of the European Day of Parks, between May 20 and 26, nature and sea lovers have the opportunity to connect with the beauty of the Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix ter. This celebration highlights the importance of conserving this protected area and offers a variety of activities and workshops.

During Park Week, the local community actively participates to promote park conservation and encourage sustainable tourism. The programmed activities cover all ages and interests.

Enjoy the park aboard the Fillao

One of the proposals of the Park Week is the sailing excursion that we organize the Club Nàutic Estartit from Centre d’Activtats.

The activity will take place on May 25th from 11:00h to 13:00h. It will take place aboard the Fillao, a two-masted sailboat equipped with an electric motor that will guarantee a calm and environmentally friendly navigation.

Participants will be able to explore the Medes Islands and the Montgrí Coast accompanied by a certified instructor and guide of the Natural Park. With his advice and indications, they will be able to learn navigation techniques, as well as the secrets of the marine ecosystem and the importance of its conservation. In addition, you will enjoy the breathtaking views offered by the Medes Islands and the coast itself!

For those interested in joining this adventure, proper preparation is important. We recommend wearing waterproof clothing and applying sunscreen for safe navigation.

How to participate

The cost of the activity is only 15€ per person, which makes it accessible to all those who wish to experience sailing for the first time or simply enjoy a special day at sea.
