Once again, we maintain our commitment to social responsibility with Càritas Baix Ter. For this reason, the president of Club Nàutic Estartit, Jordi Ponjoan del Molino, delivers the annual contribution to the president, Maria Antònia Geli Cristòfol, at the club’s headquarters.

The mission of Càritas Baix Ter

This entity of the Catholic Church is a voluntary, free, and supportive association. Its mission is to act with solicitude towards the poor, the marginalized, and the excluded, which is an unavoidable function of every ecclesial community.

This manifests in various ways. From welcoming and accompanying to overcome situations of vulnerability, to covering basic needs, assisting the elderly, caring for children, youth, and families, and promoting socio-labor insertion and social economy.
