The Garoinada, the first gastronomic event of the year 2024
This afternoon, thanks to all of you, the Club’s Restaurant has been filled with the best company to celebrate together the Garoinada, the first gastronomic event of the year that also marks the beginning of the social acttivities of the Club. The evening has been a complete success in welcoming all our members and users.
The gathering started at two in the afternoon. We welcomed the diners with a glass of cava or beer, according to each one’s preference. Then, once seated, a variety of appetizers were served as first courses. Shrimp tartare, cuttlefish croquettes, anchovies, and the stars of today’s gastronomic event, delicious garoines. The second course was a sea bass supreme, and to conclude the meal, a mandarin and cava sorbet was served. We want to express our gratitude and congratulations to Joaquim Silva and his team for offering a menu with excellent quality local products.
Despite being January, we have been fortunate to enjoy an extraordinary day. The sun and warmth, the garoines, and the good company have accompanied us throughout, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the first gastronomic event of the year, along with splendid views of the port and the Medes Islands.
Another year filled with gastronomic experiences
We take this opportunity to announce that the second gastronomic event of the year, scheduled for February, will be directly related to calçots. A fascinating culinary experience where we will explore and celebrate this delicious product. Get ready for a year full of gastronomic experiences and memorable moments!
